Today marks the kick-off of a brand new podcast that I’ve been working on, Every Little Counts. It is an exploration my many interests and how they shape the world I experience. This first episode investigates what is known as timbre. Briefly defined, timbre is, “the characteristic quality of a sound, independent of pitch and loudness, from which its source or manner of production can be inferred.” And it’s so much more.
